Hi, I’m Susanna Orchard. I provide content and copywriting for businesses in Hertfordshire and surrounding areas.
I help companies communicate effectively with those who matter most to their business: customers, prospects, influencers, suppliers, employees.
I simply parachute in and create the kind of focused content and copy that my clients neither have the time nor the inclination to do for themselves.

Creating the kind of content and copywriting style that’s right for your business is fundamental to communicating successfully with customers. Yet, two major stumbling blocks for businesses are knowing what to communicate and then, finding the time and energy to do it.
‘Content and copywriting’ are often interchangeable terms. Personally, I think it helps to see them as related but performing different functions. Content is the overall, generic term for what you want to communicate – words, images, video footage, etc. Copywriting, on the other hand, is the actual choice of words and style of writing. This helps define the personality behind your brand, differentiating you from your competitors.
That pretty much explains what Parachute Communication is all about. I can spend time with you to understand your business and what you should be saying (creating the content strategy in other words). Then, I can do the copywriting – for websites, email campaigns, social media, blogs, video, ads, presentations, print, etc. Whatever’s right for your business.
